Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last week I had a CT SCAN without contrast as a follow up to my removal of a portion of the right lung 7 years ago for lung cancer. I received the report today, Saturday, and it says there is elevation of the right hemidiaphrgm. No lung nodule seen in the remaining portion of the right lung or in the left lung. The is minimal fibrotic stranding on both lung bases. Cuts through the mediastinum show no evidence of mediastinal or hilar lymphadenopathy. There is not evidence of supraclavicular or axillary lymphadenopathy. Cuts through the upper abdomen demonstrate a 2 cm cyst in the left lobe of the liver and a 1 cm cyst in the right lobe of the liver. No definite evidence of metastatic disease or tumor recurrence is seen in the check or upper abdomen. Should I be concerned what do I do?
