Last Year, Fall Of 2015, An Echocardiogram Performed On Me
Last year, Fall of 2015, an echocardiogram performed on me showed a RVDd measurement of 2.9 cm. This past Fall, 2016, another echocardiogram showed an increase to 5.6. What is the significance of this and should it concern me. I met with my cardiologist after the 2016 testing and he did not mention anything about the increase and he showed no concern. It was only brought to my attention when I applied to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)for my annual (Class II) aviation medical certification.
