Last Year I Had A Cystoscopy And Pelvic Scan Because

Last year I had a cystoscopy and pelvic scan because of low abdominal pain and blood being present in my urine. Today I went to have a hysteroscopy and another pelvic scan because of a post menopausal bleed (am 68 and finished my menopause when I was 46). I had the scan and the technician told me that my uterine wall had increased from 7mm to 13mm from the last scan. She asked if there was any follow up from the last scan, which there wasn't. Can you tell me what could cause the increase in the thickness of the uterine wall please.
