Late Periods, Light Bleeding On Taking Regevidon After Having Unprotected Sex. Advice

I had unprotected sex and took rigevidon as an emergancy contraceptive the day after. Firstly, will that have worked? Secondly, it caused two days of very light bleeding about five days after, is that normal and is it counted as a period? And thirdly, my period is now 9 days later than usual- is that something to worry about?

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.
I have gone through your available history..

Emergency contraceptives are useful if taken within 72 hours of sex. As you have taken within 24 hours, it should be effective.

Bleeding you have after 5 days can be considered as breakthrough or withdrawal bleed. The quantity may vary among individual and it also depends on date of last menses.

There might be delay in regular menstrual cycle as you have mid cycle withdrawal bleed. You may confirm it by consulting your gynecologist.

Thanks.
