Lazy Eye, Twitching On Looking Up, Moving Eye. Surgery Done, Difficulty Opening Eye. Causes?
I had surgery as a teenager on my right eye. After the surgery my eye never opened all the way back up. The doctor said I had some eye muscle damage. Now I am 40 and it is even lazier. I am a graduate student, and recently about four months ago my lazy eye started twitching I noticed that it does it more when I move my eye or look up. Could this be from stress , or is it possible that my eye muscle is getting weaker ?
if your lids are not completely opening it may be a surgery induce damage to muscles. but since it got twitching looking up you need to re examine to rule out other causes of muscle damage, like myasthenia in which muscles get weakened progressively. consult your eye specialist who can advise you about another surgery which can be done to keep your eyes open more
Hi.. Thanks for choosing HCM.. The muscle twitching are because of insufficient contraction of the weak muscle... With stress it may slightly become more.. With age generally the muscle tone will also decrease... DOn't worry about that... Improve your general nutrition... If there is any vision problem consult your eye doctor.. Take care..
