Less Bleeding. Prescribed Femilion. Why Am I Only Spotting?

Hi I was having a problem of very less bleeding , doctor advised me tablet femilon for 3 months. After having one month course I did get my periods but only spotting similar thing happened after second course also. Now the situation is that I have stopped femilon but my preiods have not improved. there is hardly any bleeding.
