Periods can be delayed because of many reasons, recent illness being one of them. here are no tests to conirm that your delayed periods are due to typhoid. But in any sexually active woman with delayed periods, pregnancy has to be ruled out. You can check it by performing a urinary pregnancy test (UPT) at home. These UPT kits can be easily purchased from any pharmacy and there are instructions provided in the kit regarding usage and result interpretation. If it is negative and you still don't get your periods by 1 week, repeat the test. If it is still negative then you are definitely not pregnant and will need to visit a gynecologist for a complete evaluation for delayed periods
Hope that helps. Wishing you good luck.
