Light Headed Feeling, Numb Limbs, Frozen Hands, Short Of Breath. Alzheimers?


i was at work today and i begun to feel light headed and then i started to almost black out, my limbs became numb and tingly, as well as my nose and lips, my hands froze up and they were hard to move. i was disorientated and didn't know what was going on around me like i has suffering from alzhimers. i was short of breath, i feltas though i lost a lot of blood?

Thank you for posting your query.



I can assure you that your symptoms are not due to Alzheimer's disease.



However, we should exclude a diagnosis of transient ischemic attack (TIA), in which the blood flow to brain is reduced for a while, leading to various symptoms, as you have described.



You should consult a neurologist, get a brain scan done, and get screened for risk factors such as diabetes, high BP, cholesterol, etc.
