Hi, I had a vaginal hysterectomy 4 weeks ago. I was feeling fine until yesterday. I started feeling very light headed and dizzy with lots of abdominal pressure. Walking had become painful due to the pressure and sitting is awful. To help with the pressure, I have to contract my stomach muscles. It s a great workout! But I really wonder of this is normal.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Feeling of mild pressure in the lower abdomen without any pain could be related to the intestinal distension due to gas. It is not necessary related to the operation you had. You can wait for the symptoms to subside spontaneously.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
