Although you are on birth control, we can never be too sure. A home pregnancy kit is very easily available, safe and easy to use as well. You can do this be using a home pregnancy kit and testing yourself with an early morning sample of urine, which would be most accurate and would yield and accurate result. A light pink discharge is usually a sign of either: -An infection -Seen during the first few days of a period or just before a period Similarly a brown discharge, mostly spotting, is also a sign of a soon approaching period, or is seen during the first few days of a period. So what you are experiencing is most probably an approaching period, but for your satisfaction, you could rule out pregnancy as well.
