Lightheadedness And Feeling Of Low Blood Sugar After Drinking Green Tea Or Coffee. What Is The Reason?

When I drink green tea or green coffee I get light headed, almost feel like I have low blood sugar and even a little lothargic. What causes this feeling? I have young kids and feel the need for some caffine in the afternoon. Coffe in the afternoon makes me queasy, so I turned to alternatives.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your description. I suggest you not to worry. Green tea just another tea. In some cases, it do gives some jitteriness and sometimes upset stomach. To overcome this, you can try these tips. Drink warm tea not hot. Avoid tea that's excessively concentrated. Brew the same tea leaves in moderation. Don't drink too many cups. Drink tea an hour before or after meals.

Hope this answer us helpful to you. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
