Suggest Treatment For Short Bowel Syndrome And Diabetes
I have two conditions. Short Bowel Syndrome and Type 2 diabetes. I can t eat a traditional diabetic diet. On days when my SBS is particularly severe, I eat very little or nothing at all. This throws me into a low blood sugar. I just had a spell of low blood sugar of 28 accompanied with severe shaking and weakness. Usually I only have the rapid heartbeat and lightheadedness. Any suggestions?

what you have experienced is simply the symptoms of low blood sugar
in such a case I would advised my patients to carry chocolate or candy in their pockets so whenever he/she feels so , can immediately eat it to maintain blood sugar
secondly I would advised you consult your doctor for readjustment of anti diabetic drugs dosage.
