Hello, getrajnish,
Your mother's
gallbladder shows "Sludge" which is like gravel made
up of
cholesterol crystals. It is also distended. She can have acute
gallbladder attacks just like if she had gallstones.
The liver size is slightly enlarged but the structures are normal.
I assume that the reason for doing this was due to some kind
of symptoms she was experiencing. It could have been abdominal
pain,
nausea,
vomiting etc.
If any of these are present, she needs to have her
gall bladder out.
Surgery is done through laparoscopic method and it is usually in
and out same day surgery.
I would have her get all the blood tests for the liver and also blood
count. She should also have her lipid levels checked including
Cholesterol ,total,HDL,LDL and also triglycerides.Blood sugar too.
I wish her well.
