Loose Motions, Watery Stools With Greenish Mucus, Abdominal Cramps, Solution

my 8 weeks old baby used to pass stool once a day which used to be bright yellow and pasty but now he poops 4-5 times a day which is watery, greeish with mucus what is the reason? baby cries cries as if having abdominal cramps . baby used to pass a lot of gas but now it has also stopped. please also advice what treatment can be used. he also has conjested nose. ( my baby had jaundice which lasted for 7 weeks )

Green poop in babies could happen due to a recent change in the diet, a recent viral infection- cold in your baby's case, very frequent feeding the baby, high sugar content in the baby's food, etc. If there is no fever and the child is feeding normally, then there is nothing to worry and the condition will improve spontaneously.

I will suggest you to visit your family doctor for the proper treatment.

In my view it is some infections in the intestine which ios causing this problem.
