Loose Stools, Fishy Smelling Mucus From Anus. Scan Showed Little Inflammation On Appendix. Any Ideas?

Fishy smelling mucus from anus. Have had loose bowl movements for over a month. Just went to the ER a few nights ago with extreme abdominal pain. They said it was either ovarian cysts that they saw on a scan or there was also a little inflammation on the tip of my appendix. I'm worried there is something else going on she didn't say anything about my mention of the loose bowel for so long. She did say something about colitis, but said she didn't think that was it.

Hi,thank you for your interest in HCM.In this situation,i would proceed to treat with Antibiotics combined with Anti-amoebics,as i suppose this to be colitis and also if needed antispasmodics may be given to control abdominal pain and before that Stools may be examined microscopically for pus cells and for amoebiasis. The stools also sent for culture & sensitivity to find out the organism with sensitivity to antibiotics.
