Low BP, Dizziness, Lack Of Energy. Taking Benicar HTC, Amlodopinr. Can I Stop These Medicines?

Hi, I am trying to see if it is safe to stop Benicar HTC, amlodopinr, and propranolol? My BP IS SCARY LOW AND I WANT TO STOP ALL THESE MEDS. Do I need to wean off? I have been. On them for a very long time and I don t believe I should be. My pressure has been too low for too long and it is going down. I am dizzy all the time and no energy. Can I stop these medications safely?

Thank you for choosing healthcaremagic

Benicar is a angiotensin II receptor blocker, Amlodipar is a calcium channel blocker and Propranolo is a beta blocker.

Stopping Propranolol suddenly would be a very bad idea and it would need to be reduced in dose over time.

One may try coming off Benicar or amlodipine (one at a time while monitoring the blood pressure) under the supervision of a doctor however it would be very unwise to do it on your own.

Hope This was Helpful
