Low Grade Fever After Being Bitten By Stray Dog. Infected With Rabies? Can Still Take Shots?

Its been 2 months after being bit by a stray dog and Ive been having low grade fevers off and on.. Its been a couple weeks since I had a fever and it came back. Not sure if I actually do have rabies and if I do, it may be too late to do some sort of treatment. I need some really good feedback pls. I'm not really sure what to do. If I am able to still get rabie shots, would I be eligible for a payment plan of some sort. I have no insurance.

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
Ideally in case of dog bite, the dog should be watched for at least a week to observe it for rabies infection ( If it is female dog then chances of having rabies to dog is likely) if dog does not died within this periods then it should be killed and the brain of dog should be sent for Lab. examination to rule out the rabies infection, but in some region of world this not possible, so it is better to have a vaccine shot (Prophylaxis) have good day.

on and off fever does not signify rabies.and rabies has got no treatment.since you were bitten by a stray dog you should have taken anti rabies vaccine.if not taken thn plz go and take it now coz it is the only thing which can save you from it.if you have taken the full course of rabies vaccine thn dont worry you are protected from it,look for some other cause of fever.
