Low Iron And Taking Pills. Taking Iron Rich Foods And Birth Control Pills. Need Advise?
I am a 44 yo female with low iron. I take my pills iron when I remember which has been consistent for this past month. I in cooperate iron rich foods when I can however every month I struggle because I get so fatigued!!! I was g birth control pills might help me but I am always struggling with fatigue because I am a working mother and it is hard to find time. I was wondering if it would help the pill? I'd rather not waste time in the office and taking off from work if u r able to help me
Hi, If you are not more deficient of iron, Iron tablet will give good result. Take regular iron tablet for about 2-3 months. Along with anemia go for test to rule out vitamin B12 deficiency as well. Take high iron containing food and green veggies. Treat the cause of having anemia like excessive period, worm infestation etc. Ok and take care.
