Low Menstrual Flow After Abortion. Which Day Of The Cycle To Visit The Doctor For Consultation?

I have a decreased low menstrual flow after a medical abortion! My doctor prescribed consult her when my first period come after the abortion.So on which date i should meet my doctor? Is it on the 1st day of flow or after 7 days when flow stop? Please reply me soon
