Low Power In Eyes. Retina Operation Done, Eye Slightly Misplaced. Will Another Operation Correct This?
hi doctor, i have a sister of 25 years going to get married. She has a problem of having very low power in her eyes since her childhood. She got operation in XXXXX for her retina 6 yrs back, results were positive dat power decreasing controlled, but due to the mistake of doctors, her one eye was little misplaced. Can a second operation place her eye in right position wìthout any risk? Plz answer.
Hi... Thanks for the query.. What was the refractive error she has ( power/number of glasses ). What was the operation done for? Was it for a detachment of the retina or just a laser.. What is the vision in her operated eye now? If the vision in her operated eye is very less the deviation of the eye (misplacement) could be because of very low vision where the eye is not being used (because of low vision). It can be corrected by a surgery but there are very high chances of its recurrence due to low vision... If the above details are provided I can give you better information.. Will be available for further queries..
