Low Progestrone Levels During Follicular Phase And Luteal Phase, Bloating During Luteal Phase. Will Intake Of Vitex Agnus Cactus Help?
Hi! I have low progestrone levels during the follicular phase as well as luteal phase? what should i do to increase the same? I have heard of that the herb vitex agnus cactus increases progesterone. Should i take that? But during the luteal phase i experience bloating. Why is that? It is said that bloating is due to high progestrone levels in the body but my levels are low. Then why do i feel bloated?

hi, you are complaining for bloated sensation after ovulation i.e in luteal phase. progesterone is produced by the corpus luteum which causes fluid retension and leads to all the symptoms. you seems to have severe premenstrual symptoms. please take the gynaecologist advice for the treatment. sometimes exogenous progesterone is given for the treatment of PMS. other preparation made of Primrose oil helps a lot in such conditions. have fluid and salt restriction during this period.
