Lower Abdominal Pain After Intercourse. Diagnosed With PCOD, Cyst Removal Needed. Will This Affect The Fertility Chances?

Hi Doctor,
I am 27 and married since 10 months and my husband is abroad.Last month he came on vacation and after an intercourse i got lower abdominal pain that lasted for several dayss. After a USG a gynaecologist said me it is PCOD and to remove the cyst soon .I took a second openion and he also said me the same but no need of surgery but to get pregnant soon.I went to another dr who is an infertility specialist,by looking at the same USG she said me it is a chocolate cyst.she conducted a USG and doppler and found that it is endometriosis with a chocolate cyst of 6 and 6 cms in left ovary with kissing ovaries and fluid in POD.She posted me for a key hole surgery tomorrow.
Sir,I want to know how much it might have affected my fertility.I will join my husband 3 months later. What are my chances of getting conceived after 3 months?

Hello dear,

Your surgery comprise only for the drainage of the blood collected into that cyst. However, It is not going to affect your fertility status.. but also this doesnot means that your get rid off of your PCOD status...

PCOD is a disorder arises due to ill function of your hormonal glands which also effects your immunity status sometimes... and thus, you get into this condition of endometriosis..

Kindly get it notified that their is "NO TREATMENT for PCOD in ALLOPATHIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE" hence, I request you to follow some suggested measures for early recovery out of condition.

1. Try to maintain abstinence from SALT in food.
2. Your food should not comprise of FERMENTED EDIBLES like , Pickles, Preserved Chutney, Yoghurt(Dahi), Idli, Bread etc..
3. Avoid sleeping during day time.
4. Get help to procure Ayurvedic Medicines & Yoga help from an Ayurvedic Physician near to you.
