Lower Back Pain During Pregnancy After Second GTT Screening. Normal?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and took my GTT screen today [approx. 6.5 hours ago]. This is the second screen I have done [the first at 26 weeks pregnant and was negative]. I have been having lower back pain now for about 3-4 hours. It is centered in the areas of my kidneys and I was wondering if this is normal? I don t recall whether I experienced this with my first GTT screen. Thanks.

Thanks for posting your query.

It seems to be a normal finding to me. The GTT has no relation to the lower back pain. It is just a co-incidence.

Take adequate rest and drink plenty of fluids. You will be fine soon.
