Lower Back Pain, Frequent Urination, Fatigue. Blood In Urine. What Do You Think?
Hello Doctor, I had symptoms of lower back pain, urinating often and feeling fatigued. I went to walk-in clinic this weekend and gave the doctor a urine sample. His diagnosis was that I had either bladder infection or kidney stone. he was thinking that it was likely kidney stone because there was bit of blood showing in my urine. What do you think i have given those symptoms and blood in urine? Thanks!
For backache you need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Routine RE/ME,RBS,LFT,RFT,urine RE/ME and Ultrasound of abdomen should be done.
There are many causes of hematuria and ultrasound of abdomen can exclude many of these.
Hematuria may be due to renal or urinary bladder calculus,UTI,tumour etc.
Musculoskeletal causes should also be evaluAated.
Treatment should be started on clinical basis and investigation report.
Get well soon.
Take Care
