Lower Lip Swollen. Feels Like Something Stuck In The Throat. Dry Mouth. Matter Of Concern?
the inner part of my mouth [lower lip] also the sides feel thicker than usual. my lower lip feels swollen and the insides look swollen. except for my lower lip being chapped and dry there is no pain. also for the last 2 weeks i ve been feeling like there s something stuck at the bottom of my throat every time i swallow and my mouth feels dehydrated.... is this something i should worry about?
Although you have given so many symptoms and the feeling of block is present you may still be perfectly all right but lets be sure right:
1. Take only warm fluids and avoid anything cold 2. Do not strain when you speak, you have not mentioned if there is any voice change and if you have a history or job which has vocal abuse. 3. Avoid spicy and oily food for a while and do not immediately lie down when you have a meal. 4. Always keep a flask of warm water and drink it whenever you feel dry without frequently clearing your throat.
If all the above do not work then you need to go for and ENT consult and make sure you do an Upper GI endoscopy to rule any any problem and be completely sure.
