Lump Behind Ear, Abcess In Ear Canal. Taking Antibiotics, Conditions Worsened. Should I Meet A Doctor?

Hi, I found a lump quite by chance behind my left ear. No pain just a lump. Then the inside of my ear became quite annoying rather than painful. I went to my gp who looked inside my ear and discovered an abcess in my ear canal, he put me on antibiotics (oral) and drops for my ear. A week later and the lump is a bit bigger and my ear is more annoying than before. Should I go back to my doctor or I am finished oral course but have drops left.
