Lump In Anus After Shaving, Loose Skin. Should I Be Worried?
Hi, recently I shaved my anus with a friends razor and I got a green lump there, I went to the doctor to get it checked out and he told me that it was just because I had cut my self and that it got infected so he gave me something to put on it to make it go down and it is working well. Also though I have like some loose skin that looks like it is coming out from my anus but it doesn t hurt and not sure if it s been there for a while or not. Should I be worried about this??
Hello,
Loose skin from anus may be normal most of the time.
It may also be a hemmoroid which has subsided and so the skin may be hanging out, if it is so you would have symptoms of bleeding noticed on defecating and pain.
Sometimes rectal prolapse may also be mistaken for skin.
Your doctor should have noticed it while examining your anus, he must have found it to be unimportant to be mentioned..
But if you have doubt, It is better to consult a surgeon so that he can make out what it is by examination
One more thing never share your razor's even between family members. it is highly unhygienic
Take care
Bye
