Lump In Anus, Bleeding External Hemorrhoids. Cyst Removed From Testicle Previously. Advise?
I am a 51 year old male. Recently I found a small BB sized cyst type lump just inside my anus while I was in the shower. I had a small cyst removed from my right testicle when I was 20 that was found to be benign that felt very similar to this "lump". I have external hemorrhoids that frequently bleed when my stool is very hard. The bleeding does not last long and is a bright red in color. I do frequently have very loose stool. My last colonoscopy was when I was 42.
Is this something I should see a doctor about or should I just monitor this lump for any changes?
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a perianal abscess. Since you have external haemorrhoids and bleeding from these haemorrhoid frequently you have to discuss your surgeon or proctologist to explore the feasibility or need to get these haemorrhoids ligated as the perianal abscess are always secondary to these haemorrhoids. In the mean while take antibiotics as per advice of your family Physician. Dr.Patil.
