Lump In Armpit. Taking Levothyroxine. Ultrasound Done, Diagnosed As Muscle Tissue. Due To Hypothyroidism?

Does underarm lump have anything to do with hypothyroidism? Have a large lump under armpit, after ultrasound was told that this was a harmless muscle bundle. This lump appeared just before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I have been on 25 mcg of levothyroxine for 2 months. Just upped to 50mcg last week. Lump has not changed at all.

Hello, welcome to HCM,
The lump you described is a harmless muscle bundle, which can occur sometime.

But this has no relation with your hypothyroidism.

So, do not worry, your hypothyroidism, cannot lead to this type of condition.

Regards.
