Its have been five hours I am feeling a lump like in my left side of throat (internal). Its somewhat like tonsil but its not tonsil. I feel uncomfortable while swallow . I also noticed my left side chin is swollen. I am having hives all over my body from last 2days and now the itching is intense. I was bitten by bed bugs few days ago (6 days ago) and these hives started after 4 days. Please help me out. Thanks

Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I am suspecting a delayed allergic reaction to bug bites. I suggest benadryl and tab Atarax thrice daily for two days for the allergy. Application of calamine lotion on the rashes. If the symptoms increase get in touch with your GP for an antiallergy shot. Thanks.
