Lump Near Anal Opening, No Pain. History Of Parasite Infection, Constipation, Tonsillitis
I am a 23 year old female and in the last few days have noticed a pea sized lump near the entrance of my anus. I only noticed it when wiping and it is not painful to touch or anything. About 7 months ago I was treated for bowel problem from a possible parasite from morocco and I had a lot of itching around the anus which was treated with cream. I have not had any problems since. I spent last week with tonsillitis and was slightly constipated but my bowls are fine now.
Hi thanks for your question. The small pea sized lump which you are having near your anal opening most probably could be anal tag. Anal tags are benign folds of skin usually associated with constipation, anal fissure and piles, but can occur without any reason. They have no association with parasitic infestation or tonsillitis .Anal tags are usually painless and don't cause much problems and disappear with the treatment of underlying cause, however if they cause pain or bleeding can be removed surgically. Hope this answers your question
