Lump On Bone Behind Ear, Sensitive To Touch And Numb Feeling In Ear. Is This A Pinched Nerve?

It feels like I have a lump on the bone right behind my right ear and it s senstitive to the touch, also the skin around it & part of the ear feels numb. Is there a nerve behind the right ear & is it possible to pinch a nerve there while sleeping? I sleep on the right side every night.

Hello,

Lump behind ear may be due to ear infection ,pericoronitis or TMJ dislocation.

I would advice you to get a thorough clinical evaluation as well as palpation of the area to be done.

Antibiotics such as cipro floxacin has to be administered.

Also get the infection and wax within ear cleaned.

Visit an E N T Specialist and get a thorough clinical evaluation done.

Hope this helps.
