Lump On Occipital Lobe. Suspected To Occipital Neuralgia, So Had Couple Blocks. Vision Is Affected. What Should I Do?

I have had this large lump on my occipital lobe for a few months now, they thought it was occipital neuralgia, gave me a couple blocks which didn't work, sent me to a Neuro surgeon, who told me basically to go get a massage....the pain is agonizing and there constantly, it affects
my vision, I can't work....I don't know what to do

Hi,

Have you gotten a CT scan or MRI done of the area. If it affects your vision then, it has to be inside your brain. That part is confusing though because you wont be able to feel the lump if it is inside. Anyway to be sure, you might like to get a second opinion and get that doctor to do a CT scan. I hope this will help you get rid of the problem.

Hey,

This seems a serious concern. You need to consult a neurosurgeon for this. You definitely require a CT/MRI of the brain.

Please consult one before it is too late.
