Lump On The Bottom Of The Head. Painful Stiff Neck. Suffered Spasm. Cause?

Hello, my partner has jut discovered sort of a lump on the right bottom of his head, he's also been suffering with a really painful and stiff neck and has a back problem - posterior central bulge ..? Could these be connected by any chance ..? He suffered a spasm earlier today and then slept for few hours and woke up with that lump. He thought it was a massive spot building up as it is sore .. What do you think ..? Many thanks .. Emilia

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The lump at the bottom of the head with no history of injury to the area could be due to a swollen lymph node or an infection in the area causing the stiffness. This needs a direct examination for proper diagnosis and management.
