Lump On The Inside Of The Knee After A Game. Have Swelling On The Knee. How Will This Lump Go Away?
Hi, I have a large lump on the inside of my knee which result from a clash of knees while playing soccer. Initially there was a lot swelling to the knee and lower leg. It has been over a week since the injury occurred, and whilst the swelling has mostly come down, I am left with a large hard lump on the inside of my leg. Could you please advise what this lump could be and how I can treat it. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The large hard lump on the inside of your knee is likely to be due top a hematoma formation. This can happen due to a soft tissue injury in the area or a bone injury. An MRI will help you best in identifying the type of injury you have suffered.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
