Lump Under Nipple, No Discharge Or Pain. What Is It?

my 6 month old daughter has a pea size lump under her right nipple , there s no discharge or pain or redness or swelling , it moves when it s touches lightly. she hasn t a temperature and is eating normally. When she was born her breasts did go quite large for a few weeks but then went down. I went to the doctors and she didn t know what it was and is referring her to a pediatrician but I don t know how long we will get to see one.

Hello mam I think there is nothing to worry about your daughter as long as she has no other symptoms like discharge, redness, temperature, or other symptoms like abnormal weight, large head, vomiting, poor feeding, lethargy. If she is active and playfull with you, just feel free. If you find that the lump is increasing in size then you can conSult your pediatrician. Few babies may have such lump at birth and even little milk discharge for few days. But for your daughter it seems to be normal.
