Lumps On The Lower Back Above Glutes, Very Painful Causes Nerve Trick. What Could It Be?
i have a hard tennis ball size lump under the skin on my lower back just to the right of my spine and just above my glutes (if you're looking at me from behind). This lump is painful and causes pain to the touch and with normal movement and even slight pain down the leg stopping at the knee. It also causes some sort of nerve trick when it is rubbed its like it shoots a nerve off in my lower abdomen above the pubic bone. It does not get smaller with massage it only hurts more and causes more lasting pain. What could this be
Hi Thanks for posting query your description about lump is good but is missing some very important information like how it was started, associated with trauma or not, how long it is there, what was progression of lump. To begin with was it painful or pain developed later on, is it feels like fluid filled. Short history, red painful swelling in favor of abscess. Relative long history with fluid filled cavity and pain developed later on idicates infected cyst. There may be many more causes. Further management depends upon correct diagnosis.
