Hi, Welcome to HCM, Prominent bronchovascular markings is radiological term and needs to be correlated clinically. If you do not have symptoms prominent bronchovascular markings has no clinical value. If there is no other abnormality in X ray chest. This finding is common in smokers if you smoke please stop, it is better to get digital X ray for better assessment. Consult a chest physician,If symptoms like cough and sputum production is there then a HRCT of chest will help in assessing exact cause of your condition. Please visit your Physician and after examination if required further investigations may be done. Please take care Good Luck. Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
