MRI Report Showing Large Schmorl's Node, Hypertrophied Lumbar Facet Joints, Ovarian Cyst Formation. What Is The Treatment?
I just got my MRI report and it says I have large schmorl nodes at the junction of the T10 and T11 and it also says that my lumbar facet joints are moderately hypertrophied at multiple levels below predominantly affecting the right side. 5mm synovial cyst is seen arising from the right facet joints of the L3-L4, what needs to be done
These reports shows that your spine is showing degenerative changes and it will need treatment in form of rest, lumbosacral belt and calcium and vitamin D supplementation. You should also need to do hot water fomentation and back muscle strengthening exercises,if there is no relief then final treatment will be surgery.
