I typed is exactly as it is on the MRI report, they spelled disc two ways, Disc and Disk so that has me a little worried. My surgeon that did the fusion 5 months ago said my MRI looked fine. Reading the summary it doesnt seem that way. I am at the end of the road, the pain has been getting worse 10 out of 10 pain crying, yelling, and screaming. Barely able to sit, walk, or basically do anything. When I move I feel the pain radiating through my stomach. I cannot take the pain anymore. I am on percoset 7.5 mg eight times a day, Nucynta 100mg two times a day, Flexorol 4mg three times a day, Nurotin 400mg three times a day. I am 21 years old, I dont really understand this MRI and needed a professional doctors opinion. Thank you so much!
"MRI Impression:
1.Bilateral laminectomy and fusion L5-S1. Postoperative granulation tissue seen about the S1 nerve roots in the lateral recess. There is no reccurent disk herniation or stenosis.
2.Diffuse bulging of the disc again noted at L4-5 narrowing the lateral recess. It is possible that the L5 root could be impinging on the lateral recess on the left.
3.Continued visualization of a disk herniation at L3-4 indenting the thecal sac and causing left lateral recess narrowing."
