MRI Report Shows Focal Area Of Acute Infarct In The Right Ganglio-capsular Region. What Is The Meaning?

Sir MRI report of my father says following impressions:
* Small focal area of acute infarct in the right ganglio-capsular region
* Small gliotic infarcts in the bilateral ganglio-capsular regions
* Age related cortico-cerebral atrophy with bilateral periventricular and subcortical ischemic changes

ON MR ANGIOGRAPHY STUDY

* Focal mild to moderate narrowing in the M1 and M2 segments of the right middle cerebral artery

your report says that your father has suffered from stroke which means that the blood supply to the brain has decreased leading to death of the affected brain tissue. allthough the samage is irreversible but your father will do good and eventually his condition will improve provided he taked anti coagulants and blood thinners .
