my mri report says that i have a mild lumbar spondylosis with multilevel grade 2 disc degeneration with grade 3 disc degeneration at l4 l5 mild diffuse disc bulge at l4-l5 level causing narrowing of bilateral neural foramina and just touching upon bilateral l4 existing nerve roots with mild ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and facetic joint degeneration at l4 -l 5 level mild annular tear with mild disc bluge at l3-l4 level hyperintense signal on STIR involving soft tissue of posterior paraspinal region of lower lumbar spine and bilateral pedicles of l4-l5 vertebrae s/o edema ? posttraumatic

Since most of your MRI findings are of "mild" nature, it is nothing serious and can be managed effectively by conservative means. * avoid bending forwards excessively * avoid lifting weights * use lumbar back support * physiotherapy for back muscles strengthening * ocassional muscle relaxants and pain relieving gel formulations Hope this helps.
