Maculopapular Rash On Abdomen Spreading To Limbs Post Blood Transfusion For Emergency C-section. Suggestion?
Hi, My wife delivered by emergency C section on the 12/11/2012. She required a large blood transfusion . 21 units in all of RBCs and 8 FFP and cryo and 1 pool of platelets. Over the last 48hrs she has developed a maculopapular rash which started on the abdomen/back and has now spread to all the limbs . The palms of the hands and face have been spared.
