Madam/Sir, I Was Diagosed With Severe Aplastic Anemia In Jan

Madam/Sir,
I was diagosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia in Jan 14, after two bone marrow biopsies when I was presented with pancytopenia.

Then, Hb-9.8 TLC - 2300 Plt- 25000.

Hematologist suggested BMT but could not happen due to lack of matched sibling donor.

I wad put on Cyclosporine 150 mg BD for six months before giving ATG (horse) therapy followed by Cyclosporine.

Now, 10 months post ATG, my counts are
Hb-13, TLC-3700 and Plt- 1.1 lakh.

Continuing Cyclosporine 150 mg BD.

Had three episodes of Hyperglycemia in the last 10 months. On Metformin SR 500 mg BD. Occasionally feeling fatigue.

My queries are
1. Is ATG therapy given to me a success?
2. If yes, what percent? Will it relapse?
3. If not, then what is the next option?
4. With Hb 13, why do I feel tired and fatigue?
5. How long should I take Cyclosporine?
6. How long should I review my case with a Hematologist?

Thank you.
