Severe hair loss with dandruff and male pattern baldness are common among your age group. You should consult with a dermatologist to find out what the cause of your problems are. Male pattern baldness is usually not reversible, unless it is telogen effluvium and it will regrow with some medications mostly topical called mintop. Dandruff can be treated with using a lot of shampoo for the kind of scalp that you have. Improving scalp health will also improve your skin health. You are doing the right thing, just do it under the care of a qualified dermatologist.
HI,
male pettern baldness, has heriditary predisposition.
It starts as receding frontal and frontal hair line, with thinning of hair, spreads backwards , then involves the crown leaving a perepheral rim of hair.
The treatment given is minoxidil5%lotion, anti androgen finesteride 1 mg daily .antioxidants and multivitamins under prescription by doctor. This is effective in early stages. the response is variable.
Alpecin liquid is a caffine derivative which helps in hair growth , can be added to the above treatment but here again results are variable.
katoconazole shampoo reduces dandruff but wont work for androgenic alopecia
