Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

A history of trauma to the head 25 years ago can cause memory problems years later. I suppose you need to consult a neurologist or psychiatrist who will be able to do your clinical examination. You may also need to take cognitive evaluation tests to see if any particular brain areas are involved. This can be followed by an EEG and if felt necessary by CT scan brain.

Depending on the results, you may be prescribed medications for your headache and memory problems. You have not mentioned your age. That would have helped in giving you a better insight.

Hope this helps
