Menopause, Endometrial Thickness Was 1.6 Mm, Vagifem, Endometrial Thickness:12 Mm

I am 62 and have been in menopause since I was age 54. I had an ultrasound in January this year which showed my endometrial thickness was 1.6 mm. I was prescribed a 30 day treatment of vagifem . I had another ultrasound last week and now my endometrial thickness is now 12 mm!! Do you thing vagifem caused this? I am v worried.

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Vagifem does contain Estrogen which is an hormone stimulates glands proliferation in the uterine endometrium.

Its very normal for one in menopause and on Vagifem to present with increased in thickness in the endometrium.
