Metallic Odor From Vaginal Discharge After Having Endometrial Ablation. Can Ablation Alter Vaginal Odor?
I am a 56 year old female that is still sexually active. I had a Novasure procedure done in 2011 due to excessive bleeding. Since then I have had a slightly off, metallic odor and I am told by my boyfriend a slightly off taste to my secretions. I do not have any std's currently. Just had a physical including a test for std's and a pap test. Can endometrial ablasion cause or alter vaginal odor and what can be done to alter the smell of my vagina safely? Before the ablasion procedure I had no smell at all.
