Mild Pain In Ear, Painkillers Give Relief. Small Black Spot In The Eardrum Seen. What Is It ?
my mother of 63yrs has developed pain in her ear that is very mild.it reduces with pain killers that the doctor gave. the doctor told its because of cold but she dosent have cold.it has been almost 20 days now.the ENT told that there is a small black spot in the eardrum with no much significance.she has no liquid coming from the ear,no cold.

It seems that she might be having chronic otitis media giving rise to pain.
Go for antibiotic course for 5-7 days after consulting your doctor.
Put some antibiotic ear drops.
