Mild Pain In The Throat. Thyroid Test Reports Normal. What Else?
I have had very mild pain my my thriat or months, sometimes it there and other days it not. However during the last week it seems or feel like it swollen inside. Sore isn't the right way I describe it, it's more annoying that painful. After googling I've read about thyroid issues. I've recently had a blood test done & thyroid was all clear. Would a thyroid issue need specific blood tests to check for different types ? I'm worried at the moment. I also have a lump in my inner R leg crease. It's reduced quite a lot in the last week but it was about an inch long for a about a week. Is this a sign of something bad ? Thanks
After reading your post, I would suggest you that you should also get following investigations done to rule out any infection/inflammation of the throat :-
You can do warm saline gargles for relief.
If the pain persists, you can take paracetamol and ibuprofen after meals for relief along with an antacid. Any medicine to be taken under medical supervision only.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, I would suggest you that you should also get following investigations done to rule out any infection/inflammation of the throat :- 1. Complete Blood count(CBC). 2. Throat swab culture. Also get your throat examined by an ENT specialist. You can do warm saline gargles for relief. If the pain persists, you can take paracetamol and ibuprofen after meals for relief along with an antacid. Any medicine to be taken under medical supervision only. I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.
